Jim Thomas Jim Thomas
Managing Director


Jim is a co founder and owner of PDW Group. He is heavily involved in the day to day running and development of the business and of our client base. His primary roles are as a diagnostician & solutions provider, and as a lead facilitator for key services such as our experiential learning proposition, our interactive workshops and client away days. Prior to forming PDW group, Jim had 13 years of major brand corporate experience in middle & senior management roles spanning strategic development, leadership, sales & marketing and operations, and so brings a broad mix of pragmatic experience and learned knowledge to his work for the benefit of our clients.

Elan Thomas Elan Thomas
Director


Elan is a co founder and owner of PDW Group and is heavily involved in the day to day development of the business and is officially both our creative engine and our ships counsellor. Her primary client facing role is as a support consultant & coach for our experiential learning proposition, where she has worked with literally hundreds of delegates in over fifty organisations, often with life changing results. Prior to forming PDW group, Elan had 10 years of major brand corporate experience mostly in people management & development roles within the consumer goods and retail sectors, and so brings significant people experience and insight to her work for the benefit of our clients.

Liam Malson Liam Malson
Head of Web Applications & Feedback Services

Liam is our Head of Web Applications & Feedback Services and is responsible for managing and developing our technology based services. Liams experience across a range of industries and sectors enables him to design and manage projects and support our consultancy team.

Having started working life in retail, Liam moved to an independent pub/restaurant chain. At 19 Liam was recruited to manage a Subway store where he worked until recruited for his unique knowledge of IT to source, implement and manage the ICT infrastructure for a national chain of confectionary stores. Liam has significant experience in project management and technical services, adding value to the development of our client offering.

Tim Sayers Tim Sayers
Head of People Development


With thirty years experience in the UK and Europe, operating at board level in business development, Tim's operational experience covers sectors including, hotels, brewing, licensed on-trade, food retailing, catering wholesale, market research and business information.

From hotel management working at the Ritz, to selling beer for Whitbread, selling soft drinks for Coca-Cola and onto developing a European business unit for ACNielsen, Tim's passion has been for customer service and people development. Key to Tim's success has been putting the customer first and being passionate about helping people and businesses to succeed.






Lisa O'Dwyer Lisa O'Dwyer
Head of Operations & Finance


Lisa O'Dwyer is our Head of Operations & Finance. Lisa supports our business in a wide variety of functions, particularly with client facing projects, management of our training centre and our accounts system. Lisa has a background of law, banking and credit industries , working as an account manager for 15 years with Lloyds Bowmaker as was, and two years with Welcome Finance, followed by 10 years with Allchem (Midlands) Ltd changing her role slightly to sales/purchase ledger manager.

Jo Mosuley
Jo Mousley
Performance Development Manager

Jo has worked in Wilko for over 20 years and has a great understanding of supply chain through to customer conversion and all the steps in between. A real people person, Jos passion for developing people has been her primary focus whether coaching, facilitating, improving performance, developing behavioural frameworks or developing the appraisal processes, people achieving their full potential is her personal ambition.

Her role as Performance Development Manager at PDW Group allows her to continue this passion as she is responsible for all aspects of people from recruitment through to lead facilitation, senior development and executive coaching.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys travelling, walking and spending time with family and friends and is often the organiser of social and charity events.

Nuwan De Silva Nuwanjith D S
Application Developer

Nuwanjith is our lead application developer and is responsible for developing and maintaining our in house applications. Nuwanjith has broad experience across application development.

Nuwanjith is originally from Sri Lanka. He move to Australia to study Information Systems at Monash University in Melbourne before moving to the UK in 2012 to do a Masters at the University of Nottingham. Nuwanjith then joined PDW Group in 2013. He has a passion for cricket, politics, the environment and travelling, and prides himself on his ability to get away with ironing just the collar of his shirts.

James Scott James Scott
Business Support and Marketing Manager

James is our Business Support and Marketing Manager working alongside the WAFS team to help support our applications and feedback services. James also runs our marketing and supports the internal IT infrastructure.

James graduated from Leicesters De Montfort University with degree in Business Information Technology and previously worked as an IT Technician, allowing him to effectively support our clients technical support requests.

Geoff Bail Geoff Bail
Software Programmer


Geoff Bail is our software programmer and IT expert and works with web based technology to enable and add value to many of the projects that we work on with our clients. Geoffs ability with and his focus on technology makes possible client projects such as business simulations, e learning packages and business efficiency improvements via database and website management to name just a few.

Linda Stokes Linda Stokes
Lead Facilitator


Linda is an experienced consultant and facilitator specialising in leadership and team development, behavioural and organisational change and executive coaching. Over the last seven years she has worked across a number of business sectors including financial services, information technology, professional services and the public sector.

Paul Mohan Paul Mohan
Support Consultant


Paul is a professional actor and coach. He has significant experience of working in business situations using role play and forum theatre as training tools. His skill is in providing experiential learning and development input as part of the training team in a down to earth manner giving participants a chance to practise new skills in a safe environment. Delivering high quality feedback in group or 1:1 situations. He assists the delegate in implementing their learning and developing new habitual skills.

Marc Danbury Marc Danbury
Support Consultant

Marc has been a professional actor/trainer and coach for nearly twenty years. His acting work includes film, theatre, television and radio. He has extensive training and coaching experience in sales, recruitment and management with specialism in Soft Skills. This work has taken him to the United States, China, Holland, Finland and Germany as well as all corners of the United Kingdom. He has a wide business knowledge and experience.

Lynn has been a successful Coach, Facilitator & Trainer since 1991 and an Investors in People Specialist since 1993 and her key areas of expertise are: being a catalyst for change and development within individuals, teams and organisations. Coaching, mentoring and supporting leaders to achieve business & personal success. Facilitating team working from Board level to shop floor teams. Designing and delivering bespoke training in a host of leadership, people performance / development & change topics. Maximising performance of individuals, teams and organisations.

Paul Hessey Paul Hessey
Support Consultant

Paul has worked for several years as a trainer, facilitator, roleplayer and coach across a wide range of sectors including Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and Public Services. He specialises in Leadership, Management and Communication Skills and is a working professional actor.

He had a successful career in Investment Management for Allianz Dresdner as a Fund Manager and Director in the Quantitative Investment Management Team and continues to work as a consultant in the Financial Services Sector.

Genevieve is an experienced Role-player, Facilitator and Coach. Since 2002 she has helped train over 120 leading organisations throughout the UK and internationally. She has worked with a wide range of delegates at all levels of seniority, from Exec Teams to Graduates. Business sectors include Law, Finance, Retail, Telecommunications, Consultancy, Medical, Transport, Pharmaceutical, Utilities, Education, Charities and Government; as well as many FTSE 100 Companies. She is a professional performer, writer and voiceover artist.

Support Consultant

Keeley is a professional actress and highly proficient role-player and coach, who is equally comfortable providing direct one to one experiential learning to individuals or forum theatre for larger teams. She has worked with delegates from varying backgrounds in numerous complex situations and has also been involved with team events, client conferences and themed team development. Her creativity and ideas can be relied upon to add a new perspective and help bring unique solutions to clients. Alongside role playing/facilitating she has also devised scripts for training scenarios with and on behalf of clients.

Ray Castleton Ray Castleton
Support Consultant

After a successful career running his own company in the retail sector Ray 'went back to school' achieving a BA Hons degree from the University of Leeds.

In his new career as a professional actor, writer, workshop leader and role play consultant, Ray has experience working with a range of clients from a broad cross section of sectors. These include, Corporates, Universities, Health Authorities, Theatres and Museums.

The combination of Ray's experience running a successful business, his professional acting & improvisation skills and understanding of learning & development, provide a powerful mix to bring to the PDW training environment.






Ross Harvey Ross Harvey
Support Consultant

Based in Bristol and a graduate of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School he has been a professional actor since 1987 with Sales and Marketing background prior to training. Widely experienced corporate actor having worked in the oil and motor industry with Amoco, Rover and Jaguar.

Particular experience in corporate role play and forum theatre, worked on assignments with blue chip and SME organisations. Areas of experience include sales training, assessment, leadership development from board room to shop floor. Has worked in corporate role play throughout the Europe, US, South America and the Far East.

Steve Robinson Steve Robinson
Lead Facilltator

Steve is an experienced business leader with a highly diverse and successful background in multi-disciplined leadership. Steve brings to our clients 25 years of first hand commercial experience, including a Board appointment and senior positions with Specsavers and Fitness First, built on the foundation of a successful career in corporate finance and banking.

Steve adds a powerful mix of useable and sustainable approaches that will see individuals, teams and organisations achieving greater performance and impact. In addition building authentic leadership approaches to enhance team effectiveness.

Current works includes a range of assignments across industry, education and sport with UK and International clients. These include a series of team performance programmes with a national sports body and a bespoke board development project with a leading communications company.

Steve is a licensed practitioner of Insights Discovery, a coach, group facilitator, trained trainer and speaker at business events and seminars

Julie Bowles Julie Bowles
Support Consultant

Julie is a qualified ACCA accountant having worked for the last 20 years in a range of accountancy firms from smaller 4 partner practices to one of the Big 4. More recently, she has worked for a training organisation with her role being one of training and support to those working in public practice.

Her specialities were in delivering feedback to senior members of the firm and helping them to implement systems and training to improve effectiveness and efficiencies within the team and the work performed.

Julies understanding of feedback delivery and the importance of continued learning and development together with her business acumen brings an added quality to the PDW team.

Michael Greenhalgh Michael Greenhalgh
Lead Facilitator

Michael is a Lead Learning & Development Consultant at PDW Group (UK) Ltd. Michael has 18 years' experience of leading Learning & Development teams in organisations such as Coca-Cola, Telefonica and Specsavers the world's largest Opticians. These roles have involved working across Europe and more recently with the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Prior to this Michael was a successful retail manager for 9 years managing people and teams at Sainsburys, Staples and even running his own retail and leisure business for a number of years!

He relishes working with people, acting as a coach, mentor and facilitator with a genuine desire to help people become the best that they can be

Silhouette Lou Webb
Support Consultant

Lou has been working as a business role player for the past 15 years. As well as being a professional actress and presenter, she is also a facilitator, trainer and deliverer in a variety of courses and workshops. She specialises in communication skills and behavioural psychology and has worked worldwide in such sectors as hospitality, retail, banking, health service, construction and oil and gas.

Lou is experienced and skilled in giving feedback and coaching either on a 1:1 basis or in a group environment. Being on the board of Directors for the family business also gives her an insight into the strategies and mechanics of corporate life.
